Default The new Police Interceptor...

www.fordpoliceinterceptor.com

What are everyone's thoughts on the new Interceptor? I think Ford will lose the police market with this thing.

No surprise there, and yeah they will defiantly lose the market, or at least not be the most common police car on the road.

I like the looks of the car but i wish it was rearwheel drive, perhaps the new utility version due to be released in the last quarter of this year will have a live axle? The thing ford has going for them with the new interceptor is that all the old equipment will still fit between the seats selling feature? I must admit that new chev with a 6.0L looks impressive!

Unibody construction? I'll pass. I must admit, there are some safety features being offered that should be standard on all vehicles, not just this one.

I think the auto makers will even up in market share when the last replacement Crown Vics are gone. I think Ford has made a mistake. Sure the CVPI is outdated to a certain extent, but it hasn't lost its appeal and usefullness. Not to mention affordability. Oh well, change can be tough sometimes.... Who knows, maybe we'll be on the Ontario Quebec Ford Taurus Owners Organization soon.....
